2012 LA Greek Film Festival: Call for Entries

The Los Angeles Greek Film Festival (LAGFF) is calling for film submissions until March 9 for the 2012 festival, to be held from May 31 to June 3 in LA.

Eligible films include works by Greek or of Greek descent filmmakers from around the world, films about Greece, Greek and Cypriot productions or co-productions, as well as films by emerging US and local filmmakers with a prevalent Greek theme.

In its sixth edition, the 2012 LAGFF will feature ten film screenings paired with short films, a panel discussion with top talent and literary agents in Hollywood, an "Editing for Film Writers" workshop by screenwriter, director and University of Southern California Professor Michael Economou, and a retrospective seminar honouring the work of the film director Theo Angelopoulos.
